It was necessary to have a sympathetic approach to this project as the buildings are in a high quality public park setting. The Gallery building was suffering from structural degradation and required underpinning to provide support whilst ensuring that there was no visible signs of this in the finished work. The bandstand and gallery are in constant use within the park and the single storey building is a café.
